Not Quite Dead is back, years after the original story concluded…
We left our vampires sitting pretty after a momentous victory, but winning didn’t come without its costs. Neige and Alfie are years – perhaps decades – from acheiving their utopian vision of a future where vampires can be integrated with wider society. Since then, they’ve both had their fangs sunk deep into the messy work of convincing all the other vampires that this is something they deserve.
Alfie has set up an anonymous tip-line where vampires can call and share their experiences of life on the fringes of society, hoping their stories will bolster their own. But it’s not going as planned. He’s not yet had a single vampire offer to share their story, and instead, his inbox is full of ominous messages from the same mysterious caller. Alfie doesn’t know who the caller is, but it’s clear he’s not a vampire, and there’s no way he’s going to agree to meet him on the shady side of town, no matter how many times he calls. Unless…
